STRATHEARN HAGGIS
Award Winning Strathearn Haggis – all in celebration of the bard. Haggis is an often-maligned dish, but has great significance in our fight against waste, and tastes delicious! Just as we use the trim, along with the more commonly bought cuts, to make burgers, sausages, pies and our famous sausage rolls, this traditional Scottish dish allows us to use lamb offal, which might otherwise be discarded.
Minimising waste increasingly weighs on the social conscience and nose-to-tail butchery is an important part of making our industry more sustainable. Carcass balance is difficult as the demand for prime cuts increases, but we continue the war against waste.

Our meat boxes are filled with everything you need and, like all things David Comrie and Son, can be delivered directly to your door with our local delivery service.
The meats delivered in our meat boxes have been crafted, using time-honoured techniques of curing, dry aging, and cutting. The result is outstanding flavours, all owing to our dedication to traditional methods of husbandry and ensuring the provenance of all our food is impeccable.
